Private Lessons
- How long are lessons? Private lessons are 30 minutes.
- How much do they cost? Private lessons are currently priced at $37/lesson and billed monthly. When taking private lessons in conjunction with group classes, private lessons are discounted to $25/lesson!
- When do lessons take place? Lessons are scheduled Monday-Sunday according to your and your teacher’s availability. Most lessons occur between 3-8pm on weekdays, but other arrangements are available at the discretion of the teacher.
- When can we begin taking lessons? Enrollment given on a rolling and first-come, first-served basis. You can register any time!
- What is the age requirement? This depends on the teacher and the instrument! We have piano lessons for students as young as 3, and nearly all other instruments are available beginning at the age of 5. There is no upper age limit, many of our students are adult learners either returning to study or beginning for the first time!
- Do we have to come in-person? Not unless you want to! Our unique academy provides year-long lessons both in-person and online. You do not have to be local to Bel Air, MD in order to study here, and if you are local, you are not required to come in for lessons.
- What if I need to miss a lesson? No problem! You will be issued a make-up credit to be redeemed at one of our 1-hour group make-up sessions which take place on weekend days. You choose the session that works for you!
Group Classes
- How long are lessons? Group classes are 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the class. They are run on semester schedules, August-December, January-May, June-August.
- How much do they cost? Group lessons are $35/lesson. They are either billed monthly during the semester or paid in full, whichever option is best for you! You can add on private lessons to your plan for a discounted $25/lesson.
- When do lessons take place? Group classes take place throughout the week. You can view the session dates for each group class here.
- When can we begin taking lessons? Group classes follow a semester schedule with rolling admissions. You can register for the semester at any time!
- What is the age requirement? Each class has their own age requirements but are all accommodating for any skill level!
- Do we have to come in-person? All group classes are held in-person in our studio.
- What if I need to miss a lesson? If you need to miss a lesson you can mark it in your portal or let the front desk know so they can inform your teacher.
